Baek A Yeon is a South Korean singer-songwriter. She graduated from Dongkwang High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Vocal from Howon University. She first appeared on TV in 2011 as a contestant in "K-Pop Star", where she ended up in 3rd place. After the show, she was approached by several companies but decided to sign with JYP Entertainment as Park Jin Young was one of the judges
